Vocab Video!
Hi 5B! As you know, we have our English exam soon and that means that we have to study LOTS of vocabulary. To help you study vocab from Vocab 1 (food) and Vocab 2 (clothes) I have made a video (see the bottom of this post).
What you have to do:
1. Get your mini whiteboard and a whiteboard pen
2. Write numbers 1-10 (like we do in a vocab test)
3. Click on the link at the bottom of this post.
4. First, watch the video and try and say all the vocab words you see
5. Watch the video again and try and write all the words down on your whiteboard
6. Correct your writing using the answer section of the video
7. You can repeat this process as many times as you want to!
Have fun and we will talk about how it went tomorrow in class!

Founder's Day Fun!
Today we had lots of fun making a mural with the Year 1 children. We didn't have time to put the title and need to do a few finishing touches but we are very proud of our work and loved helping the smaller children. The title is "No Storm Can Sink a Friendship". Post a comment on what you like most about it.
We ended Founder's Day by making some beautiful candle holders out of empty glass yoghurt pots. Take a look at how creative we are!

One day Willy and Billy were going home and they had to cross the graveyard . It was cold, dark and it was raining. Suddenly they could hear a piano but they couldn't see any lights in the house next to the graveyard. They decided to go in. They were following the music when..............

One day after school a young and tall boy with dark eyes and brown hair was in the street and it was very foggy. Suddenly a light came out of a shop. He decided to go in but when he did he saw that it was abandoned. He heard a sound and when he went to look he saw a bird. The bird said something but he couldn't understand it. Then he tried to catch it, when the bird suddenly.........

A boy was walking with his dog called Mr Bites when suddenly in the dark cold night a big man with a knife appeared. Then the boy knocked on the door of a house. A woman opened the door and the boy said "There is a man with a knife, call the police!!" One minute later they saw through the window that the man had disappeared. The boy left the house. The next day the boy went to the woman´s house, he knocked bit the door was open and he saw that the woman was dead......

On a foggy and cold night in New York a boy and his friend were walking in the park when suddenly they heard a noise. There was a shiny thing in the sky, it was moving! The next day on the TV they said that three people were killed with a symbol on their heads. The boys recognized the symbol. It was on the shiny thing!! The boys decided to go to the park again. There they saw....

A Christmas Carol...scary but exciting!
Last week we started reading our new book "A Christmas Carol" and I know that you are all really enjoying it and are excited to know what happens next.In the last chapter the first ghost came to visit Scrooge. It was old and young at the same time and had a strong light shining from its head. It took Scrooge to see his past.
